What a reminder from the Word of God this morning! Most have heard that the Bible tells us we are all made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), but many assume that equates to we all will make it into heaven. My prayer for you today is that you come into the knowledge of Christ in such a way that you not only fully realize the truth in this matter, but that you also develop the strength to share that truth with someone else so “they might be saved” (Romans 10:1).

The idea that we can live it up, albeit ride it (life) ’til the wheels come off, and just do as we please is never more far away from the truth than it is right now. As followers of Christ, it is imperative that we not live as though there is no tomorrow, but that we actually live as though today might be the day of the return of Jesus Christ. Believe me, my friend, they are two very different ways of looking at the day.

Begin your day today in the Word of God. As you read, allow Holy Spirit to show you to which part of the crows you belong. As hard as we may try to force ourselves to believe, we truly do belong to one particular party. But not democrat or republic, as Satan so cleverly causes us to focus on. We are either in the party of those who “were all under the cloud…all passed through the sea…and all [who] ate the same spiritual food” (Corinthians 10:1-3), or we’re in the party that was “overthrown in the wilderness” (1 Corinthians 10:5).

Being a part of the in crowd has never been more important, but you must know the difference between the two so that you live a life forever in the presence of Jesus Christ. Be blessed on today.
